    Tog-L-Loc Hand Held Clinch Units

    BTM offers a wide range of hand held units which are ideal for small to medium production runs and are designed to accommodate a wide range of part configurations. Our hand held units are designed for economy and function and are categorized as self-contained, air/oil booster operated and hydraulically operated. In addition to the standard units shown below, BTM will also modify these units or create special units. Contact our application department for more information.


    Self-Contained Units

    UniClinch Unit

    Clinches a maximum total thickness of 3mm mild steel.
    Requires only a single air line at 6.0 bars (87psi).
    Requires no remote power source.
    Relatively light weight.
    Special “C Frames” available.

    UniClinch Crocodile Unit
    Clinches a maximum total thickness of 2mm mild steel.
    Requires only a single air line at 6.0 bars (87psi).
    Requires no remote power source.
    Improved versatility over UniClinch unit.
    Joins close pitch standing flanges.

    Air/Oil Booster Units

    Lit-L-Loc Units

    Clinches a maximum total thickness of 2mm mild steel.
    Operates with an Air/Oil Booster.
    Reversible Tooling. (Punch and die can be flipped to form the "button" on either side of the part).

    Bayonet Unit
    Clinches a maximum total thickness of 3mm mild steel
    Operates with an Air/Oil Booster.
    Reversible Tooling. (Punch and die can be swapped to form the "button" on either side of the part).
    Unit can be opened to 37.8mm [1.50"] to clear a part flange.

    Adaptable Bayonet Unit
    Clinches a maximum total thickness of 3mm mild steel
    Operates with an Air/Oil Booster.
    Reversible Tooling. (Punch and die can be swapped to form the "button" on either side of the part).
    Unit can be opened to 37.8mm [1.50"] to clear a part flange.
    Die height and throat depth specified by customer.

    Hydraulic Units

    7006 Units

    Clinches a maximum total thickness of 4mm mild steel.
    Requires a Hydraulic Pump (BTM HydroPak I Unit).
    Different Tool Holder Styles Available.
    Optional Gimbal Mount to ease positioning and increase flexibility when clinching hard-to-reach locations on a part.

    Requires a Hydraulic Pump - (BTM HydroPak II Unit)
    A high degree of flexibility and power - stroke, force and throat depth for your application.
