Bayonet Unit

BTM's bayonet units are very robust and highly maneuverable. The gun features a bayonet action which opens to clear the lip of the part while maintaining a 1/4" OSHA compliant stroke. The system requires compressed air at only 80 psi (5.5 bar) for operation. The complete system consists of a pressure booster which converts shop air into hydraulic forces, a 2 meter (80") hose assembly and hand unit with two sets of Tog-L-Loc® tools. The punch and die tools are reversible within the unit to form the "button" in either direction. The guns can be set up to join a range of thicknesses or optimized for a specific metal thickness.

Approximate weight of booster (without hose): 18 lbs. (8,2 kg).

Recommended Oil: Mobil DTE 24 to DTE 26 or any non-foaming oil.

Use with BTM standard 2 Meter (80") hose assembly No. 711100B or optional 3 meter (120") hose assembly No. 711100C.

Produces approximately 3 tons hydraulic force @ 80 psi air input.
